Rich's Blog

We, as in you and me!

Life moves by pretty fast; I’m now a senior citizen with grown children. The publishing world has moved me out to pasture. But, I’m not particularly sad that it has. Now there is time in my life for art.

Recently, I’ve worked with a bit more energy to achieve some personal goals related to painting. I realize there’s plenty to learn about color, light and the interpretation of form in the things we see all around us. However, I had a good foundation with 8-years of college training. Now I must be my own worst critic to grow with each new work.

Hi Rich: Wow, I love your portraits of people, horses and cars. Your use of color and attention to detail is masterful. Do you have any prints available for purchase? Also, I must ask, who are the beautiful females subjects in your paintings? Professional models? Must be. Keep painting and spreading breathtaking beauty and light to the world! An avid admirer

Very impressive work, Rich. I'm glad you're pursuing it in retirement. I can see it's been a passion of yours for quite a while by the meticulous detail.
